The Program: Generally, undergraduate students selected for the co-op program and internships have completed their freshman year. Those earning advanced degrees are candidates for both programs when they complete the first year of their degree program. We are interested in candidates who are highly motivated and have above-average interpersonal skills, recognized leadership experience and outstanding academic records in chemical engineering. Length of Assignments: Co-op education assignments, which are available throughout the year, typically run from three to six months. Summer internships are 12 weeks in length. Qualifications: Pursuing BS/MS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably rising Senior status.
