Versum Materials has an immediate need for an experienced Packaging/Warehouse Operator at its Dallas location. The Dallas facility manufactures Planarization chemicals for Semiconductor market. The Packaging/Warehouse Operator will be responsible for ensuring daily production goals are met by down packing materials from production into shippable containers (drums, pails, bottles, totes). The Packaging /Warehouse Operator is also required to apply product labels to the containers and complete applicable documentation while following detailed procedures and checklists. Applicants must have background in a manufacturing environment or equivalent military or apprenticeship training. General duties: o Operate equipment associated with filling, palletizing, particle counting, and labeling of finished product. o Perform periodic lifting of 50 lbs. o Torque drum bungs up to 50 ft.lbs. o Work cooperatively with others in work group to achieve daily production goals. o Wear required PPE. o Follow documented work instructions and complete checklists accurately. o Maintain neat and orderly work area. o Comply with all required health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Qualifications: o High school diploma or GED. o Minimum 2 years plant experience in a manufacturing role. o Military service in related field a plus, but not required. o Detail oriented and good documentation skills. o Strong safety philosophy and willing to engage others to pursue safety culture of zero accidents.
