Responsibilities and Qualifications Tax/Finance Intern Vista Outdoor is currently looking for tax/finance intern candidates to work 40 hours a week during non-school periods/semesters (generally this is the 12 week period during summer months). Vista Outdoors tax internship position is designed to provide a broad exposure to the tax function including federal and state income tax compliance, sales and use tax compliance, tax controversy, and tax accounting. Job Responsibilities: * Analyze and prepare book to taxable income computations * Analyze and reconcile financial statement data for tax return use * Prepare federal and state tax work papers * Assist in preparation of state sales and use tax returns * Assist in preparation of personal property tax returns * Assist with tax notices and audits * Research and document tax technical issues * Work on special projects as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: * Junior/Senior level in Bachelors degree program for accounting/finance degree.
