    02-Jan-2019 Auto req ID 91051BR Entity Volvo Construction Equipment Position Description Job Summary: The Brand and Marketing Analytics Specialist will support the promotion of the Volvo CE brand in the North American market, management of marketing sponsorships and customer loyalty programs as well as market research and analytics. This position requires a mix of interpersonal, project management and communications skills in addition to a basic understanding of brand management, marketing principles, market research and analytics. The job requires innovation in process, procedure and systems that will continuously improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness. Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities: * Manage customer/dealer/market-focused research(Dealer Satisfaction Survey, Customer Satisfaction Survey, Global Brand Track, Competitive Satisfaction Survey and others as needed) including the packaging and distribution of findings * Manage marketing analytics to research and clearly identify informational needs, collect data, analyze information, conduct research, communicate findings and support implementation * Align regional marketing and Volvo dealers with the messaging tone as well as the visual look and feel of Volvo brand standards ranging from collateal design to external signage * Track all brand guideline updates and support distribution across dealer network as well as supporting vendors consulting each as applicable * Support internal branding efforts including facility design updates * Manage day-to-day operation of the Shippensburg Volvo Brand Shop including inventory management, staffing, and event/VIP visit support * Manage and otherwise support the execution of marketing sponsorship opportunities * Manage and otherwise support the execution of customer loyalty program opportunities and direct execution * Serve as CONEXPO messaging committee member to help create and execute the booth experience for show attendees Key Skills: * Brand management, message design and creative development * Analytical mindset with the ability to ask the right questions * Able to manage multiple concurrent projects to deadline * Create communications plans to support marketing projects * Print and electronic marketing proficiency * Strong communication skills, including inter-personal, writing and speaking * Strong attention to detail and organization * Collaborative and results driven style * Personal, team and company goal achievement focus * Able to create messaging narrative from market research * Able respond and support business change * Able to balance company and media/industry objectives * Advanced Microsoft Office, Adobe, online and emerging communications abilities * Represents Volvo values and vision * Construction Industry and product competence * Integrity * Team player * Networking and relationship management * Commercial knowledge * Appropriate language skills Forums: External: Interface with trade associations, customers, dealers and vendors that could include trade media, marketing partners and agencies Internal: * Field Sales and Sales Support Teams * Marketing & Communications, Key Accounts, Used Equipment team, Finance, Legal, Volvo Group NA and global Volvo CE teams * Global Market Research Council * Merchandise Operational Forum Required knowledge & experience: 1. Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position: (Minimum) * Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Research/Analytics or business related fields 1-2 years work experience in construction field, marketing, brand management, market research or analytics * Sound knowledge of research/analytics, marketing communications and the importance of brand * Fluent English (written and spoken) (Preferred) * MBA or Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Market Research or related fields. * Media or marketing communications reference recommendations * Experience in the construction equipment or comparable manufacturing industry environment * Spanish language proficiency 2.
