Gores legal team is currently seeking an attorney to provide general commercial counsel to Gore's Performance Solutions Division (PSD), which manufactures filters, vents, cables and other products to customers in the aerospace, automotive, mobile electronics, oil & gas and pharmaceutical markets, Fabrics Division (FAB) and Core Technology Group (CT). The role, which is based in Newark, Delaware, will require expertise in the areas of business transactions and US public procurement laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will: * Be passionate about providing support for a world-class manufacturer * Be energized by collaborating on cross functional teams * Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships Responsibilities include: * Providing general legal counsel to PSD, FAB and CT in support of the PSD, FAB and CT Divisional General Counsels, advising the businesses with regard to relevant legal issues, including identification of legal risk, and liability avoidance

• Working closely with the business to help them navigate product development, commercialization, distribution (direct and through dealers, other resellers and agents), advertising and licensing * Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts for PSD, FAB and CT (including cooperation, distribution, real estate and cross-divisional agreements) * In conjunction with in-house specialists, as well as external counsel, spotting issues and/or handling issues related to a variety of legal subject matter areas, including regulatory compliance issues, intellectual property (including trademarks), bankruptcy, employment and litigation * Travel up to 15% to other Gore legal team offices in Arizona, Germany, Hong Kong and Japan Required Job Qualifications: * Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school * Admission to a U.S. state bar as an active member * Minimum of three years of commercial law experience either at a law firm or in-house * Demonstrated ability to provide general commercial counsel, support commercial transactions, draft and negotiate contracts, and work through supply chain issues * Ability to work effectively across various teams and functions in a complex, global environment Gore is committed to a drug-free workplace.
