We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our environmental, health and safety team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will plan, lead, and implement Occupational Health programs, practices, and procedures for the Medical Products Division. The ideal candidate will: * Be passionate about providing Occupational Health support * Be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams * Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships Responsibilities include: * Coordinating comprehensive case management to associates with work related injuries to facilitate and maximize healthcare outcomes in a cost effective manner * Developing case management plans utilizing a multidisciplinary approach including the associate, other health care providers, plant leaders, safety generalists, ergonomic team members and others as appropriate * Effectively communicating and interfacing with medical providers, insurance company, state workers compensation commissions, and workplace team members * Maintaining individual records to ensure continuity of care and group data for trend analyses Collecting, analyzing, and reporting health and safety metrics * Planning, conducting, and evaluating occupational health surveillance programs; collaborating with environmental health and safety (EH&S) team on controls for injury prevention and health surveillance programs related to actual and potential hazards in the workplace * Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal regulations * Providing training to Associates * Partnering with divisional, corporate, and global EH&S teams Required Job Qualifications: * Current RN license

    • At least 2 years experience in occupational health nursing * Established skills in developing and implementing practical and effective risk-reduction solutions * Demonstrated knowledge in environmental health, toxicology, pharmaceuticals, safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics and understanding governmental regulations as they apply to occupational and environmental health and safety * Must have the ability to protect and maintain confidentiality of records/information. * Strong computer skills * Demonstrated organizational priority-setting skills * Established skills in developing and implementing practical and effective risk-reduction solutions * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Attention to detail * Ability to: * Manage multiple projects * Work effectively independently and in a team environment Desired Job Qualifications:
    • Board certification in occupational health and case management nursing
    • Bachelors degree * Occupational Health Nursing experience in a manufacturing environment * Previous use of OHM electronic medical record * Workers Compensation case management experience Gore is committed to a drug-free workplace.
