In this role, you will responsible to lead the project teams to successful delivery of sprint goals and create a collaborative environment for the project teams that ensures a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will: * Be passionate about manufacturing products that are the highest quality in their class * Be energized by working for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams * Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships Responsibilities include: * Being Scrum Master for 2 or more teams ensuring the team maintains discipline around the Scrum framework * Organizing and facilitating scrum team events * Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization, and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization * Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution * Updating teams on best practices from Scrum as indicated in the Scrum Guide * Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information * Deploying metrics and agile monitoring techniques such as burn-down, backlog, and story points to help teams improve their velocity * Working collaboratively with Product Owners and cross-functional development teams to support product or process development and delivery * Developing Product Owners and coaching on backlog development and grooming * Teaching/coaching/mentoring the team on user story creation/prioritization, estimation and product backlog grooming while supporting overall organizational goals * Resolving or escalating impediments as necessary * Coordinating dependencies between teams and other parts of the organization * Ensuring development team is working efficiently towards Sprint goals * Coaching the development team and stakeholders on how to use Agile and frameworks like Scrum and Kanban * Recommending improvements and assisting in changes to best practices * Creating an environment that empowers and energizes team members, with a focus on accountability, adaptability, and collaboration * Developing new Scrum Masters, Product Owners, & Development Teams * Updating training and leading Scrum Forum * Assisting in rolling out the Scrum framework to the larger organization Required Job Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Technical; or equivalent work experience * Hands-on Certified Scrum Master (PSM or CSM) with at least 3 years as an Agile practitioner/Scrum Master/Coach, preferably with some non-software experience * Experience communicating and removing impediments across an organization * Experience working with an agile mindset on technically complex projects * Proven leadership skills, specifically leading by example (servant leader) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail * Must be self-motivated and pragmatic * Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate * Highly adaptable in a changing environment * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams * Ability to coach and mentor other scrum masters and work effectively within the Gore Culture * Must: * Have situational awareness with an understanding of when to listen and when to be assertive * Have a can-do attitude and a strong passion for technology and willingness to learn new skills * Be confident, self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and be team-oriented * Experience with LEAN or continuous improvement * Experience in a manufacturing environment Gore is committed to a drug-free workplace.
