Summer 2019 Internship - Equipment Engineering (Thin Film CVD) (394-879) Tracking Code 394-879 Job Description The Equipment Engineering Internship position will provide exposure to multiple engineering disciplines- electrical, mechanical and chemical and their use in industrial applications within the CVD equipment department. The selected intern will be provided a mentor to guide activities ranging from equipment maintenance, equipment upgrading, design and fabrication of custom parts. The internship will consist of four system enhancement projects relating to heat exchangers, throttle valve assemblies, gaslines and tilt detection systems. We are looking for applicant who enjoys working hands on to improve existing mechanical and electrical systems. Preference will be given to candidates with experience or interest in 3D CAD modeling. WaferTech is located on 260 acres in Camas, Washington, 30 minutes outside of Portland, Oregon, in the Pacific Northwests Silicon Forest. The companys 1-million-square-foot fabrication complex includes approximately 130,000 square feet of clean room space. Be pursuing a 4-year or graduate degree which would be an appropriate degree for a position within the assigned area. Have completed their sophomore year in school or have a minimum of 60 semester hour credits. Possess the equivalent of a 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 grading scale.
