Warehouse Associate - Itasca, IL

The Warehouse Associate role ensures that our trial and demo units are received and tracked properly as they are processed and repacked. Receiving incoming shipments, inventory control, processing records, and updating our databases are a key part of keeping the Engineering Service Group running efficiently. Work for a Warehouse Associate is performed at our main distribution warehouse in Itasca Illinois.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Enter and maintain accurate records, inventory, and stock transfers into our database.
• Re-package products and get them ready for shipment to customers.
• Visual inspection of products to determine if they should discarded or repaired.
• Warehouse logistics duties involving the tracking of items through processing stages.

Qualifications

• Communication – must have both excellent verbal and written skills to communicate ideas and detailed information.
• Attention to detail – all processes require a high level of attention and detail and require following very strict rules and instructions.
• Time management skills – must have the ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
• Computer skills – the daily use of computers in a previous job experience is needed for this position including Microsoft office programs and custom software applications.

Requirements

• No degree required.
• Relevant experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 – 75 lbs. boxes
