    The Warehouse Lead will maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and reinforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security protocols. Provides material, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, packaging, and distribution services. Oversees warehouse activities and programs, training, and general onboarding to staff. Also responsible for inventory integrity and accuracy. Conducts regular audits and physical inventory counts.

    • Leads warehouse team on daily activities.
    • Conducts daily tag-ups to address safety and shift expectations.
    • Implements projects that improves efficiency.
    • Controls warehouse contents by applying 5S principles, and maintains accurate inventory
    • Provides input and works closely with supervisor on staffing and discipline actions.
    • Meets customer demands regarding On Time in Full (OTIF) deliveries.
    • Provides effective set-up and troubleshooting input, communicates information to other departments, and provides input on the Supply Chain Organization
    • Participates in SOP creation and helps establish best practices.
    • Will maintain facility cleanliness and order

    Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour plus $0.50 shift differential
    2nd Shift (M-F 2pm to 10:30pm)

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 2+ years of senior logistics lead or experience in a manufacturing environment, shipping and receiving preferred.
    • Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
    • Ability to lead or participate in teams, and participate in the implementation of new projects.
    • Self-starter, proactive leader, and strong team building skills.
    • Experience working in a strong safety culture.
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • SAP or other ERP system experience preferred
    • Microsoft office required

    Oversees packing operations in warehouse, performs declarations and consumptions, shipping/receiving of goods & materials, verifies planning for packaging activities, performs audits, following procedures, 5S, WCM, & FIFO standards

    30%

    Implement projects that improve logistics efficiency, serving as a supervisor back up, and providing coverage as needed.

    5%

    Ensures all personnel are aware of, and implement, EHS principles

    5%

    Conducts evaluations and cross-trains personnel, while maintaining World Class Manufacturing philosophies.
