The purpose of the Weber Metals internship is to provide a structured and supervised experience that integrates the students academic preparation into a related, applied work experience in our office environment. During the internship period of 3 to 6 months, the intern will apply academic principles to the solution of practical problems in various areas of monitoring performance and tracking trends, offering you an understanding of the forging industry as well as the Weber Metals culture. As an Accounting/Finance Intern, you may have the opportunity to: Create performance measurements to aide managerial decision-making. Assist with monthly financial reporting. Develop an understanding of the Controls function of the finance department. Candidates must be working toward the completion of a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business and have basic computer, typing, math, and writing skills which will be evaluated directly by interview.
