    Job Description

    The coordinator role is responsible for overseeing the flash standard cost planning processes. The main objective is to lead and work with a team of analysts to ensure the successful end to end quarterly standard cost update in our planning tool and ERP system. The role works closely with all product cost stakeholders including HQ Manufacturing Finance, Factory Finance, Product Engineering and Test Engineering, Procurement, BU teams etc. and serves as a key facilitator to the overall finance planning process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1.     Manage/communicate quarterly standard cost forecast calendar/activities/processes.

    a.     Work with corporate consolidations and BU teams to understand overall financial planning calendar requirements.

    b.     Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Factory Finance, and HQ cost teams to determine related standard cost calendar, activities and processes.

    2.     Manage SAP BPC software for standard cost planning; work with cost accounting to update SAP standard cost quarterly.

    3.     Manage massive data inputs to be used for standard cost planning; design process and work closely with a variety of stakeholders (BU Marketing, Product Engineer, Test Engineer, Program Manager, Procurement, etc.) to make sure accurate assumptions used for standard cost planning.

    4.     Review, analyze and communicate standard cost change to a variety of stakeholders

    5.     Support monthly rolling forecast and quarterly actual close, analyze flash product cost performance metric for executive presentations.

    6.     Support operations business partners with financial analysis and decision making.

    7.     Work with program managers to support new product cost assessment.

    8.     Suggest and implement process improvements to the forecast, standard cost, and numerous metrics and reports.

    9.     Drive standardization across disparate financial practices and consolidation methodologies

    10.  Ad hoc requests assigned by managers.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum 7 years manufacturing experience (in Operations, Engineering, or Finance), preferably in HDD, semiconductors, or consumer electronic assembly.

    High level of complex data analytics required. Must have robust command of Excel and experience to implement/manage data analytic tools.

    Excellent communication skills. Lead diverse audiences through your multifaceted analysis.

    Proven record of cross-functional teamwork.

    Flexible, collaborative, and a dynamic team-player who can work with all personalities and still maintain a sense of calm under pressure.

    Passion for knowledge and learning.

    Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or Masters in a science-based discipline preferred
