    Job Description

    The Business Planning role is responsible for Planning and Forecasting both short term and long term financial forecasts aligned with TAM/Share goals, growth plans by segment and overall mix optimization, Product transition planning and modeling, tracking and monitoring metrics and performance to plans throughout the quarter.  Identification of risk and opportunities.  The planning Analyst will collaborate very closely with peers within the team and outside the team to ensure tied off plans through planning, forecasting and execution.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • MRF Planning (Short and Long Term)
    • Alignment of TAM and share modeling with cross functional team
    • Deep analytics of both sell in and sell through trends
    • Alignment of Growth objectives and modeling based on business sub segments
      • Consumer and Professional Business Subsegments
    •  New product Introduction, phase in and phase out modeling over long term horizon
    • Monitoring and Execution
    • Weekly Tracking of key metrics to current quarter plan
      • Identification of risk and opportunities
      • Collaborate with Planning peers and pricing team on gap alignment
      • Maintain and present tracking dashboards to Management and cross functional team
      • Ongoing detailed analysis of product performance and trends with goal of identifying opportunities
      • Collaborate with demand planning peers on trends for outbound forecast alignment and better execution
    • Ad hoc projects as needed
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Data Analytics, planning and forecasting, or supply chain analytics
    • Ability to gather analyze and make recommendation
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to convert large data sets into simple trend analysis and metric views
    • Excellent cross functional process management and collaboration skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Expert Microsoft Office skills (excel, PowerPoint)
    • Strong knowledge of Tableau
