    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The Sr Manager, System Architecture is a member of the System Architecture team who also manages architects that use models to develop new performance and endurance algorithms and features. The Sr Manager will provide oversight of investment in models used by the system architecture team and other adjacent architecture teams.
    • The System Architecture team is responsible for working cross functionally to deliver performance, endurance, and other value-add features in Enterprise SSD products.
    • The role requires close interaction with teams including ASIC, Firmware, Hardware, System Design, Quality, Reliability, and Marketing.
    • The role involves preparing, contributing, and attending customer technical discussions.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • BS in an engineering discipline
    • 10+ years of experience in architecture development, platform design, ASIC design, system engineering, or other engineering discipline

    SKILLS:

    • Demonstrate creative problem solving skills and tradeoff analyses, adapting approach as needed for each engagement
    • Possess excellent written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, build credibility and engender trust across all levels of an organization
    • Candidates must have prior experience in architecture design, systems engineering, engineering development, or other engineering related field and a successful track record of project management and leading cross-functional teams.
