    Job Description

    As a member of a highly skilled firmware development team, you will develop state of the art SSD (Solid State Drive) products for the enterprise market.  With storage protocols expertise, you will be responsible for delivering best in class performance for these protocols and for the overall drive.

    In this highly technical and hands-on role, essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

    • Designing, implementing and integrating critical firmware components for manufacturing infrastructure for SSD products
    • Analyzing and optimizing existing firmware and hardware design for increasing of manufacturing infrastructure efficiency.
    • Analyzing, troubleshooting and fixing issues discovered by internal test teams or by customer use of the products.
    • Representing the team in one or more multi-disciplined engineering core team(s).
    • Mentor junior engineers.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BSEE/BSCE or BSCS 
    • Experience with embedded code development and debug a must.
    • Knowledge of the PCIe host bus interface and protocols such as NVMe or SOP is highly desired.
    • Exposure to concepts such as encryption and TCG a plus.
    • Software development background proficient in C/C++ with an emphasis on, or experience in, real time environments. 
    • Strong knowledge of structured code development methods and debug techniques 
    • Knowledge of and experience using typical lab equipment such as bus analyzers, and in line firmware debug tools is required. 
    • Ability to solve problems as part of multi-site organization and cross functional team 
    • Ability to provide accurate and timely scheduling and resource information to team leads and managers, and meet scheduled commitments

    • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado or remote jobs that can be performed in Colorado.  This range may be modified in the future.
