    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supply Planning for Consumer Solutions-Hard Drives segment to ensure attainment of the company’s revenue plans
    • Establish weekly and quarterly operational demand and trade orders to develop the Master Production Schedule for Contract Manufacturers
    • Weekly and quarterly MPS for capacity planning including tooling requirements, HDD requirements, and freight planning
    • Plan weekly/quarterly freight mode optimization i.e. use of truck and ocean freight
    • Weekly HDD allocation plan between Contract Management sites to support the MPS
    • Review Contract Manufacturing commitment versus build request plan
    • A product transition schedule with appropriate buffers is needed to ensure no supply gap to meet order fulfillment and minimize End of Life exposures
    • Supply commit review and escalation reports
    • Work with Factory, logistics, and operational teams to resolve issues
    • Manage Finished Good Inventory freight mode optimization in conjunction with the logistics team to deliver quarterly freight cost savings target
    • Maintenance of Finished Good sourcing, BOM for HDD consumptions including transitions
    • Work out closely with the team to support the urgent request, and pull-in/push-out builds to meet the customers' requirement
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field e.g. Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
    • 3-5 years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning, SCM, Planner/specialist, or related field.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
    • Experience with ERP systems, Oracle, SAP, and Tableau

    PREFERRED:

    • Experience in Logistic and Supply Chain
    • Experience in Demand/Supply strategy
    • Advanced Skills in Excel, formula

    • Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
    • Good English communication (Speaking and Writing)
    • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization
    • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
    • Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions to determine client needs
    • Ability to make clear, logical decisions based on facts, taking into consideration the big picture, long and short term effects, and exercising sound judgment when handling complaints, confidential and sensitive issues
    • Demonstrate ability to deliver consistent positive results through influencing, coordinating, and managing the efforts of others
