    Job Description

    Reporting to the Incentive Accounting, Sr. Manager, the individual would primarily be responsible for the accrual, calculations and analysis of incentives/commissions for external sales reps and or Transformation projects.  The individual would be responsible for managing relationships with the sales team as well as partnering with leadership in Sales and Finance.  The individual will also be a key contributor to various Finance ad-hoc projects.

    Ideal candidate will possess excellent communications skills, allowing for effective working relationship between Sales, Accounting and other groups within the Finance Department.   Candidate must possess good analytical skills to calculate, analyze and report incentives/commissions, and accrue for unpaid External Incentives/Commissions.  The candidate should have incentives/commissions and project management experience/background, with the ability to reconcile accounts to the General Ledger, and have the ability to understand Finance related transactions.   Attention to detail is critical as well as the ability to prioritize responsibilities, learn quickly, and work independently and accurately. 

    This individual will be interacting with a culturally diverse set of financial team members globally.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare and analyze monthly incentives/commissions calculations, accruals, and reports
    • Maintenance of incentive/commission data in Access based calculation tool
    • Record various incentive/commission and finance related journal entries and account reconciliations
    • Assist Finance Transformation team with various ad-hoc projects
    • Continuous improvement of underlying operational financial reporting systems to improve reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and automate reports / processes for the worldwide finance teams.
    • Assist in implementing process improvements and fostering communications / relationships along side the Finance Transformation Team for WDC.
  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • BA Degree in Finance
    • Minimum 3-5 years of previously related experience in corporate Finance in a high tech or similar industry,  
    • Experience in Oracle, SAP, ARCH, and OBIEE is a plus
    • Advanced Excel & Access skills
    • High degree of accuracy when completing task with strong organizational and analytical skills
    • Excellent problem solving, follow up and customer service skills
    • Aptitude for project management and process improvement, excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
