    Job Description

    As a Principal Firmware Verification Test Engineer, you will design and implement test cases for testing the specific FW feature and verify its functionality and robustness across different scenarios. You will support the strategy of the DVV White-Box team by designing specific tests and help in Failure Analysis to debug FW/script issues to mature the Firmware. You are an independent problem solver with excellent communication skills who can work effectively as part of a cross functional team. You have good proficiency in C and python and are familiar with the PCIe/NVMe spec.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    A candidate in this position shall be responsible for the below functions but not limited to the following 

    • Test Design, Development, and Integration of functional tests for NVMe SSD firmware validation

    • Do troubleshoot and analyze complex problems

    • Do multi-task and meet deadlines

    • Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment

    • Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people

    • Desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team  

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors or Masters •  7– 15 yrs experience

    • Firmware knowledge for a storage device

    • Knowledge on Flash memory technology

    • SATA/NVMe knowledge  

    SKILLS:

    • Python

    • C/C++

    • Excellent communication skills

    PREFERRED:

    • Firmware Validation experience

    • Experience with protocol analyzers
