    Job Description

    The ideal candidate for the role has extensive experience leading complex software programs, revenue sensitive and strategic initiatives.  He/She must excel at consolidating and summarizing information for consumption by the executive team on short notice. 

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

    • In this role, you will be responsible for building the program management function to oversee the delivery of programs, define internal processes and manage cross-functional communications with external organizations. 
    • You will manage the roadmap coordination between product managers and technical organizations as well as communication to the leadership team for the business unit. 
    • You will be responsible for hiring multiple program managers who will focus on specific initiatives and can drive teams to understand and deliver the right results for the business based on strategic priorities.
    • You will ensure that the different cross-functional teams continuously raise the bar and drive decision based on accurate data and with a customer-first approach.  
    • The ideal candidate will not be afraid to challenge the status quo, quickly identify failures and treat them as growth opportunities for the organization given the proper conclusions and actions. 
    • In this role, you will also have responsibility of chief of staff reporting to the head of the organization and will oversee  planning and growth activities across all domains pertinent to the development of the group.

    The role would be ideally located in the Bay Area where most of the leadership team is currently located, but we are a remote-friendly organization and would consider making accommodations for the right candidate. 

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED: 

    • 10+ years of experience as a software technical program manager
    • 8+ years managing program management teams and driving teams in excess of 200 people
    • Highly comfortable managing cross-functional and geographically distributed organizations. 
    • Track record of shipping disruptive consumer products with emphasis on time to market and quality
    • Experience with service monetization is a significant plus
    • Engineering degree, BSc or equivalent is required
