    Job Description

    We are seeking highly motivated university graduates ready to contribute hands-on alongside our Finance & Accounting teams as you develop your career. Our Finance & Accounting Rotation Program enables you to work in different capacities across various functions before dedicating to one role. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the different areas of the organization and rapidly grow your professional skills within Western Digital.

    We are recruiting for the following areas where you can be hired into a role within the group:

    • Business Finance (HDD/Flash)
    • Corporate FP &A
    • Operations Finance
    • Treasury
    • Accounting

    What is the LAUNCH Program? The LAUNCH Program is a supplemental, year-long program to introduce you into corporate insights and company culture. In this program, you will navigate through starting and launching your career towards your long-term aspirations. LAUNCH Program elements include:

    ELIGBILITY

    • Candidates who graduated May 2023 or are graduating from May 2024 with a Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
    • Available to start full-time work in August 2024 at our Milpitas, CA or San Jose, CA locations
    • Ability to work in the US without requiring Western Digital to commence or sponsor an immigration case (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration case)

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create effective presentations for senior management
    • Ability to work both independently and in large, cross-functional team settings
    • Microsoft Excel proficiency

    Compensation & Benefits Details

    • An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
    • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.
    • You will be eligible to participate in Western Digital’s Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance. Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Western Digital’s Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
