    Job Description

    WD Finance is currently looking for an experienced Sr. Business Systems Analyst for supporting the finance organization’s forecasting, reporting, analysis, and data governance requirements using Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service), OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition) and Oracle DRM (Data Relationship management). Primarily, the resource will be part of Finance Business Applications team reporting to Sr. Business Applications Manager within finance and work closely with IT team and other organizations in the company.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The incumbent will support enterprise-wide financial planning processes using Oracle Cloud Planning (EPBCS).
    • Responsible for managing Spend, Workforce, Capex, Gross Margin, Balance sheet, direct and indirect method cash flow planning modules
    • Ownership of timely and comprehensive system preparation, execution, and support for monthly forecasting processes
    • Closely co-ordinate with GL accounting team during month-end close.
    • Support activities including but not limited to providing support to global finance users during monthly forecasting, month end close and ad-hoc analytic reporting
    • Managing metadata related to ERP and EPBCS systems using Oracle Data Relationship Management system (DRM).
    • Responsible for Functional and BU Spend allocations in PCMCS for actuals and EPBCS for forecast
    • Ownership of managing small and large-scale project implementations and periodic system improvements
    • Ensure data integrity and system scalability across all planning modules
    • Act as liaison between business users and IT in maintenance activities including but not limited to master data management, business rules, reports, security, performance monitoring, issue resolutions, bug fixes and enhancements.
    • Provide training and onboarding support to the end-users including access, system overview & reporting
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in supporting financial planning applications
    • 2+ years of experience on EPBCS, DRM, PCMCS and Smart View
    • Understanding of corporate finance business processes, including fundamental Finance accounting concepts as well as forecasting and budgeting cycles, and corporate FP&A reporting requirements
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Experience or knowledge on Oracle OBIEE and SAP BPC is a plus
