Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure timely payroll tax processing for two legal entities and 50 states with various localities utilizing Ceridian Tax Service as business partner
• Analyze payroll output reports for accurate wage and tax calculations
• Act as a liaison for Ceridian Tax Service
• Lead quarter end and year end processes to support timely and accurate tax filings.
• Liaison for Equifax to provide support with employment verifications, unemployment claim processing, and special projects
• Ability to resolve or escalate employee questions regarding taxes or other payroll related issues
• Support annual audit process 
• Identify and escalate tax and compliance changes that have an impact on Western Digital
• Support the payroll process as needed

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Minimum 6-8 years hands on payroll and tax experience
• Ability to work with strict deadlines
• Ability to accurately analyze complex and detailed data to achieve quality
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proactive problem solver
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
