  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ·      Use, maintain, and troubleshootadvanced tribology equipment

    ·      Use various analytical equipment to investigate tested heads and media

    ·      Carry out various DOEs 

    ·      Summarize data and provide observations to the team

    ·      Work with tribology engineers to evaluate HDD interface reliability

    ·      Participate in significant technical investigations

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED

    • Associate, BS or equivalent in engineering or related
    • Ability to deliver deadlines and commitments.

     

     PREFERENCE

    • Capable of quickly learning new equipment and tester systems, tools, and methodologies
    • Familiarity with media process and testing
    • Working knowledge with optical microscope, optical surface analyzer, and AFM. etc

    SKILL:

    • Experience in material analysis and instrument.
    • Computer skills to use Excel, PPT, Word to summary data and generate reports.
    • Problem-solving skills, solutions oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
