Consumer Solutions (Retail) is constantly innovating to ensure Western Digital's products are providing solutions to customer challenges. This group helps customers store, manage, share, protect, and experience their content. This Product Management position will be in the Consumer Solutions Flash Product Management division, managing SanDisk Imaging Memory Card product lines. Opportunity to create new products, develop & execute product line strategy, work across teams from Marketing, Mechanical Engineering and System Engineering to bring new Imaging products to life.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The individual will be responsible for managing SanDisk Imaging Memory Card product lines throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch to EOL.
• Develop and execute product line strategy
• Define and write technical product requirements documents and end user use case scenarios
• Develop and present business cases to senior management to gain investments for new products or technologies
• In conjunction with business development team, manage Imaging partner relationships and work closely to develop custom and/or new technology products
• Individual will be Imaging market expert and understand competition, market situation and customer trends to create and revise product roadmaps.
• Quarterly updates of competitive positioning, projects and sales
• Understand overall cost of product line, review BOM, and lead efforts to increase product line profitability.
• Product advocate and product/technical expert
• Contribute to product positioning, value proposition and product differentiation strategy
• Track new product schedule and lead team in order to deliver products on-time

Qualifications

REQUIRED: 

• BS in engineering, computer science, product management or equivalent schooling
• 5-10 years of product management or relevant experience
• Experience with semiconductors, flash memory or adjacent technologies preferred
• Imaging, camera, photo/video experience preferred
