Job Description

We are looking for self-motivated individual to support the Content Solutions Business Unit.  This person will partner closely with the BU’s organization to prepare the Revenue Forecast and provide financial expertise to the business.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain/evolve revenue & margin forecasting models and metrics
• Prepare in-depth variance, pricing and margin analysis to the business and finance
• Provide operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making
• Drive financial review meetings with the business partners*
• Prepare ad hoc analysis as needed to provide insight and support for pending decisions
• Prepare and distribute weekly financial metrics and charts to cross-functional organizations
• Implement process improvement
• Participate in projects related to financial systems or business processes

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Strong financial systems expertise.  Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Business Objects, and Smart View is a requirement
• Extremely detail oriented, well organized, high standard of accuracy and ability to multi-task
• Exceptional financial modeling skills using Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be able to summarize complex and technical issues / analysis into simple and clear messaging for Senior management
• Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proactive and independent person who identifies issues and drives them to resolution
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in finance or accounting in high tech or similar industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance

The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment, excellent written and verbal communication skill and must have demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams throughout the organization at different levels.  The individual must be detail-oriented, well-organized, reliable and flexible.    The individual needs to be a self-starter with fast learning skills and be able to work with minimal supervision.  The ability to prioritize workload and provide quality work under strict deadlines is a must.
