Job Description

• Handles specific design & validations of HDD electronics including hw & fw:
• Servo & Read Channel functional validation in current SOC & new SOC
• Support integration of Preamps into HDD both HW and FW.
• Support HW failure analysis related to Channel & Preamp.
• Able to understand specification to optimizations needs from hardware to firmware.
• Contributes to the debug of any cross-functional related systems issues during drive integration (DI)

Qualifications

• BS with 1 - 2 yrs. related experience, or an MS 0  with 1 yrs. related experience
• Self-direct and self-motivate.
• Experience or courses in signal processing, digital / analog design. Familiar with lab equipment i.e. scope, logic analyzer.
• Knowledgeable of C/C++ to perform simple FA tasks.  Familiar with Emulator is a plus.
