    Job Description

    As a member of the Channel Business Intelligence team, you will use data and analysis to lead in understanding and optimizing the strategy and execution of the global channel business. This starts by creating, improving, and owning the visualizations and tools that will enable the global team to identify and act on risk and opportunity. You will present your analysis to the leadership team and coordinate with operations, sales, and finance to quantify, prioritize, and drive the execution of the identified actions. With a critical focus on optimizing revenue and margin, you will ensure information is consistent and aligned across regions to implement a global strategy.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create reporting and analysis, primarily using Tableau, that pulls together the minute detail of Channel management to quantify and surface operational priorities that will guide global teams
    • Own and continually improve tools and processes to adjust to the constantly evolving company priorities and business dynamics
    • Lead end-to-end business intelligence model creation including gathering data and requirements, processing, analyzing, developing, and presenting
    • Drive adoption of new visualizations and processes including awareness, training, and change management
    • Monitor product availability, regional allocation, sales, and channel inventory, working closely with finance to understand P&L impact and optimize the plan in near-real time
    • Determine variables that affect market and business outcomes and integrate them into an action-focused dashboard and analysis
    • Present analysis and insights to executive leadership team to align on strategy and priorities
    • Analyze key metrics to identify operational gaps to plan, assign ownership to cross-functional and global teams, and track completion of deliverables
    • Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams with various levels of technical and business understanding
    • Train both technical and business ongoing user
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Undergraduate degree from a top university required; graduate degree preferred
    • 5+ years of experience in finance, business, operations, or similar
    • Expertise in development of data visualization using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, etc; Tableau preferred
    • Strength in analyzing big data to surface specific insights and actions
    • Strong business acumen with an ability to draw connections between business objectives and data analysis
    • Experience demand planning, forecasting, managing sales, or managing inventory for a large organization preferred
    • Excellent project management and ability to lead cross functional teams in aligning strategy and execution
    • Ability to think strategically and break down to tactical execution with strong attention to detail
    • Flexibility to rapidly adjust based on new information and shifts in corporate direction
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly shift between business discussion at the executive level and detailed technical understanding and capability
