    Job Description

    Site Electrical and Controls Systems Engineer:

    • Attend and participate in Facilities Engineering design review meetings.
    • Conduct technical assessments of site equipment efficiency, capacity and reliability. Evaluations should include life cycle cost calculations.
    • Knowledgeable of electrical systems modeling software SKM.
    • Project Manage and Engineer role for Maintenance & Operations capital/expense projects, overseeing all aspects and disciplines of work with full compliance of safety and building codes. Manage the design and construction meetings for your projects.
    • Plan and execute new projects including ROM estimates, capital justification packages, RFQ's and SOW documents, bid evaluations, contractor selection, schedule creation and construction administration.
    • Maintain close communications between the site's M&O, FE and EHS teams providing best practices for maintaining and operating the sites electrical infrastructure.
    • Generate long-term strategic plan for factory support of the electrical systems based on capacity, capability and expansion projections.
    • Monitor and control the performance, capacity and uptime of electrical equipment serving critical facilities infrastructure systems.
    • Review electrical switching/grounding procedures, electrical critical site safety task plans, are flash and fault duty coordination.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering or equivalent.
    • 5+ years of professional experience in the field of Facilities Engineering
    • Experience with high-tech electronic or semiconductor manufacturing facility or other high availability facility with large industrial systems supporting critical 24x7 operations.
    • Working knowledge of clean-room design and operations.
    • MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and Auto-Cad
    • Knowledge of facilities electrical equipment such as Unit Sub Stations, Motor Control Centers, Distribution Panels, Emergency Generators, UPS's, VFD's, Motors, fire alarm, emergency power systems, transmission power distribution, grounding and battery storage systems.
    • Prepare equipment specifications and procurement contracts, responsible for design integration and coordinating the development of project scopes, schedules & cost estimates.
    • Perform failure analysis and provide recommended corrective actions.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have excellent coordination, communication and people skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels and aspects of the organization.
