    The HDD Business Unit is leading the charge to deliver compelling products and solutions to empower the next phase of the data revolution.     The HDD R&D Firmware Engineering organization plays a key role in cutting-edge design and development that underpins the majority of our HDD firmware to create next generation Enterprise Storage Products. We are seeking students to join our teams through our 4-month RAMP Co-op program. These paid Co-Op opportunities are designed to jump start your career through on-the-job training where you will join our team in office and work hands-on to define how we develop, test, and validate the firmware.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Current student, at least in Junior standing, pursuing a BS in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field; educational emphasis on embedded systems is a plus
    • Minimum of 3.0 GPA
    • Strong technical skills in area of study
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong team-player who can collaborate with colleagues
    • Interest in HDD
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Software testing background with experience developing automated test script and experience with test development, test plan creation, and developing automation software is strongly desired
    • These positions will be an 4-month Co-Op position in Rochester, MN and Longmont, CO starting August 2021
