    As a member of the Americas’ HR Delivery team, this role will be the face of Human Resources to leaders in assigned client group(s). The HR Delivery team partners closely with the HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence and the AskHR teams to ensure world class HR support is given to employees at all levels of the organization. This role will be working closely with Employees, Managers and Senior Directors in business group(s) to ensure high quality HR support.

    • Provide support to assigned client groups and consult, collaborate and educate on HR projects across those groups
    • Work closely with HRBP’s and HR COEs on the combined HR program agenda
    • Implements and executes HR programs and services including, but not limited to compensation, talent and performance management, employee engagement, equity/inclusion/diversity
    • Advise and assist people leaders on application and execution of HR guidelines, policies, processes, practices and programs
    • Supports emergent or urgent business needs as they arise
    • Coach managers on employee performance improvement/corrective actions
    • Support team effectiveness for clients
    • Facilitate both live and virtual HR related sessions to support priority initiatives
    • Supports development of employees and managers; align to enterprise-wide development models & methods
    • Utilize and summarize talent data from reports and dashboards as needed to support business goals and problem solving
    • Proactively partner and collaborate across HR COE and HR Operations, share information, and provide a solution-oriented mindset to optimize the business value of the HR function
    • Provide policy interpretation and guidance for complex HR issues
    • Uphold all HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws at the same time ensuring fair and equitable treatment for WD employees
    • Apply sound decision-making and business acumen to human resources issues
    • Advises on HR / Talent solutions to support business objectives or solve business problems
    • Takes a proactive approach with the business/clients on anticipating needs, suggesting improvements and driving the success of the organization

    • Ability to recognize issues and bring forward solutions to enhance or improve the business and HR functions and processes
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to independently handle multiple priorities, tasks and assignments and work in individual and team environments
    • Ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information and situations
    • Able to effectively facilitate both live and virtual sessions
    • Program/Project Management skills or relevant experience
    • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Effective negotiating and influencing skills
    • Excellent customer service
    • Strong employee relations skills
    • Self-directed and motivated
    • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, MS Teams, Box and Workday or other HRIS applications are strongly preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • 1 to 3 years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • PHR certification preferred

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS DETAILS

    • An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.
    • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado or remote jobs that can be performed in Colorado.  This range may be modified in the future.
    • You will also be eligible to participate in Western Digital's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan and to receive equity awards under our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs), pursuant to the terms of these programs.  RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Western Digital’s Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
