Job Description
We are looking for Data Science engineer to be part of a RSS data team that includes full stack software engineer, data scientists, and data engineers. The team works closely with development and QA engineers, product managers, and end users on projects that involve large, complex and dynamic data sets. These projects are aiming at building data tools and models that help developing/qualifying new products; as well as improving existing products in terms of cost, yield and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Leverage existing big data platform and data pipeline tools to develop optimal automated processes to assemble and process large data sets from different sources and ensure optimal and consistent delivery of analysis-ready data at scale
Identify data issues, evaluate their impacts on analytic projects, and find/implement solutions
Lead development of backend scripts/tools (in R, Python and Node.js) that help engineer's daily work/analysis needs as well as deep dive analysis on in-house Nebula data platform. To achieve this, cadidate also needs to work closely with product FW, staging, integration, and factory teams.
Lead development of machine learning models/predictive analytics techniques that can be deployed in WD edge cluster and be used on production scale
