Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs delivery and pickup of chemicals on the Hitachi GST Site including boxes, cans, drums, cylinders, and performs refilling of Liquid Nitrogen Dewar’s.
• Operates pallet jacks, carts, dollies, forklifts, and delivery trucks.
• safety checks are performed for delivery trucks, forklifts, and golf carts
• Maintains chemical hazard class separation and secure of all chemicals and gasses while in transport.
• Schedules chemical deliveries and chemical waste pickup.
• Participates as an active member of site emergency response team, including hazardous material and hazardous waste spill response.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma
• Must wear a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and be clean shaven
• Must successfully complete Hazardous Waste Operations Training – 40-hour Hazwoper Training
• Performs confined space entry as needed
