  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible to lead automation activities for wafer manufacturing at Western Digital's San Jose, CA facilities.
    • Responsible for SIT, UAT, and deployment phases of automation deployment and system integration with MES, SPC, Data warehouse, Fault Detection, APC systems, etc.
    • Sustaining current automation equipment after deployment for continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor or above in the engineering/computer science area
    • More than 5 years automation production line design experience using SECS/GEM interface, AutoShell, and Tcl/Tk . Knowledge of other programming languages like C# preferred
    • More than 2 end to end automation project  management experiences

    PREFERRED:

    • Experience in automation industry is preferred
    • Experience in semiconductor or MEMS industry is preferred

    SKILLS

    • English proficiency is preferred
    • Project management experience is a plus
