    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supply Planning for Consumer Solutions & Client -Hard Drives segment to ensure attainment of company’s revenue plans and or Business units targets.
    • Establish weekly and quarterly operational demand and input into Central Planning I2 system for the system to generate the Master Production Schedule/ Build request for WD manufacturing sites. 
    • Review the Weekly and quarterly MPS for to ensure we are requesting the builds to support the business requirements. 
    • Work with Central Planning team to define an optimized freight mode i.e. use of truck, Air, rail or ocean freight
    • Review Weekly HDD allocation plan generated by the system to ensure supports the business needs.
    • Review factory commitment of supply versus the demanded request
    • Ensure Product transition adhere to the schedule with appropriate buffers needed to ensure no supply gap to meet order fulfillment and minimize End of Life exposures
    • Work with BU, factory, logistics, finance, Product management and operational teams to resolve issues
    • Manage FGI and Inventory to optimization cost savings
    • Maintenance of FG sourcing, BOM and UI in central planning
    • Supply Planning for Consumer Solutions-Hard Drives segment to ensure attainment of company’s revenue plan.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field e.g. Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 1- 3 years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning, SCM or related field.

    PREFERRED:

    • Experience with ERP system.

    SKILLS:

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
    • Good in English Communication (Writing/Speaking)
