    Job Description

    This is a position is a firmware engineering role in the customer in the customer engineering team to develop, debug, validate, and optimize storage firmware on embedded multi-core architectures and support Customer design-in and qualification for enterprise SSD products.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Designing, implementing and integrating customized new features
    • Analyzing, troubleshooting and fixing issues discovered by internal test teams or by customer use of the products.
    • Representing the team in one or more multi-disciplined engineering core team(s).
    • Your contributions will have immediate impact to the company’s success in our fast paced environment.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • BS and 5+ years of experience in Computer/Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
    • Hands-on experience in firmware development in embedded multi-core microprocessor architectures
    • Solid understanding of analyzing complex firmware and identifying Controller/Hardware issues.
    • Strong programming experience and demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems
    • Familiarity with Software Development Programming Lifecycle
    • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in Storage or NAND solution related firmware development (Flash Translation Layer, NVMe/PCie Layer etc.)
    • Development of Bootloader and Drivers – Memory Interface, IO and other Peripherals
      • PMIC, DDR, Thermal Device, EEPROM(Flash Memory), NAND, SPI, I2C, UART
      • RTOS Porting
    • Development of System/Device Power Management Interface
    • Development of NVMe/PCIe Protocol Interface
    • Knowledge of the Agile software development process life cycle
