  • Responsibilities

    Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Take ownership of Veeco IBD tools as well as several film characterization tools; Work with Equipment, Manufacturing and Development teams to set up and maintain IBD process operations to satisfy reader sensor performance requirements. Improve IBD process conditions to improve process stability, tool uptime and throughput; Correlate process conditions and parameters to wafer performance for better understanding of process control; Conduct FA and material analysis when any process failures are found. REQUIRED: Creative, self-learner with superior teamwork skills; Hands on experience of IBE or IBD as well as film characterizations including ellipsometer, XRF, magnetometry, sheet resistance and stress measurements; Able to interpret film characterization data to improve process conditions; Excellent data and statistical analysis skills using JMP Excellent communication skills; PhD (or MS with 4+ years experience in industry) in Physics, EE, ChemE, ME, Materials Science or related disciplines.

    • BS or MS CE, CS or EE
    • Strong Leadership & Problem Solving & Organization skills
    • Ability to handle more than one project at a time
    • Experience with Data Extraction, Data Analysis and Statistics
    • Familiarity with Programming and Tool Development using TCL, Python, C, C++
    • Exceptional Communication and Presentation abilities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Knowledge of both Windows & Linux operating systems
