    Job Description

    Seeking a self-motivated and pro-active Electronics Engineer with strength in software who is ready for challenges, responsibilities and rewards that come with working in a high-tech and fast-paced environment. We design, develop, and deploy custom cost-effective Hard Disk Drive (HDD) PCBA Tester Equipment solutions for the test and verification of Company's Hard Drive products PCBAs utilized in Asia manufacturing.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support custom PCBA functional test development activities for HDD products transferring to high volume in the factories. This includes developing and modifying test software and coordinating and validating new electrical hardware designs. 
    • Work to include design improvements to PCBA functional test system architecture, test plans, procedures, etc.
    • Work with product design teams, test system mechanical designer, and Asia factory personnel in establishing and satisfying PCBA test requirements defining technical strategy.
    • Use hardware tools to validate software development/diagnostic issues
    • First level FA of HDD PCBAs
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • MS or BS degree in EE or other related disciplines; with 10+ years of related job experience
    • Good knowledge of Windows OS and application development for Windows
    • Programming skills in C, C#, C++, Visual C++, JAVA
    • Experience in debugging skills and methodology

     

    PREFERRED:

    • Previous experience of computer technologies such as UART, I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, SAS and SATA
    • Driver development in Windows is a strong plus
    • Previous HDD experience
    • Hands-on experience with lab tools like Oscilloscope, Multi-meter, Signal Generator, Trace Analyzer, ...

    SKILLS:

    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Teamwork spirit, self-managed with ability to finish the job independently
    • Capability of learning new tools and skills along with the assigned duties

    • The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado or remote jobs that can be performed in Colorado.  This range may be modified in the future.
