You will play a key role in building this future! This role is part of a new innovation team that will be creating new prototypes and technologies for the Consumer Solutions business in advance of product development. The goals of the innovation team are to conceptualize, realize, and prove new concepts and technologies to bring to the product teams.

     

    This position will require deep product security knowledge in order to envision where leadership in product security can realistically go. This position drives a technology and value roadmap to understand how we can add the correct product security features that our customers will want and need. Additionally, this position will also work directly with product management and product development teams to help manage the feature direction of our products. Finally, this position will help drive architecture and design for our innovation team to realize functional prototypes.

     

    The team will work with development systems that range from Arduino/Micropython/Raspberry Pi to custom designs with both off-the-shelf components and early engineering samples from internal and external partners.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for product security strategy and planning for new products

    • Lead direction for value-add product security features with technology and feature roadmaps

    • Evangelize and drive product security features into products

    • Coordinate with product owners to incorporate security requirements and processes in the requirements phase

    • Drive strategic partnerships for product security development and solutions

    • Represent the company in external product security related organizations

     

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Experience driving product security in product management within a large and varied organization

    • Broad knowledge in product security within hardware, software, and cloud

    • 8+ years hands-on management and mentorship experience

     

    PREFERRED:

    • Background in software engineering highly desired

    • Experience with cloud APIs, Python, C++, Rust

    • Understanding of embedded hardware including RoT, MPU, random number generation

    • Familiarity with FIPS 140-3 & NIST security standards as it relates to products
