Job Description

This position offers the opportunity to be a part of the Business Operations team in Western Digital Platforms Business Unit. The individual will have ownership of Pricing Operations and Pricing Analytics for the Business Unit.

You will manage all operational aspects related to pricing, including but not limited to Rebates creation and verification, Price List management, Pricing Tools creation and updates. You will also design and run analysis models to gain insights into pricing strategies, pricing trends, market competitive information, etc

In this role, you will be the process owner overlooking the complete flow of SKUs creation, working closely with Product Managers, Cost Teams, Procurement, and IT. You will ensure SKUs are set up correctly and available for quoting in a timely manner. You will drive ongoing improvements to the process and plan for scale as we grow.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with Product Managers and IT to manage SKUs for new program introduction and End-Of-Life parts.
• Administer and Manage Rebate Programs for both OEM customers and Distribution.
• Partnership with Finance and Sales to ensure Rebate payouts accuracy and effectiveness of programs.
• Pricing Data Analysis to drive business growth and identify areas for improvement.
• Channel Price List updates.
• Ownership of all operational issues in the Pricing Tools (Salesforce and ModelN).
• Ensure SOX compliance for all pricing processes.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related area of study and/or 5-7 years of experience in Pricing Operations and /or Analytics.
• Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications- Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word.
• Experience with Pricing Models and Data Modelling/Analytics.

PREFERRED:

• Experience with Salesforce, ModelN and/or CPQ systems is desired.

SKILLS:

• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, problem-solve and produce results in a collaborative environment.
• Self-starter, motivated, flexible, detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and takes ownership of work. Able to think independently and solid organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
