    Job Description

    You will be part of a research team developing the building blocks of emerging non-volatile memory. The team is exploring a wide range of future memory cell technologies, such as MRAM, RRAM, and PCM, and the associated selector devices and architectures needed to incorporate these components into competitive memory, storage, and compute devices.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The key responsibility of the role is to provide guidance for various emerging non-volatile memory projects through analysis of electrical measurement data on devices and arrays. As part of your job, you will work with other team members to define the device measurement strategy, bring up test code and hardware, carry out measurements, analyze data, and present results at meetings and project reviews. You will engage with process, material characterization, and modeling teams to develop and carry out relevant analysis and simulations to develop a fundamental understanding of device operation and assess the feasibility of using the underlying technology in commercial applications. The output of your work will influence the technology roadmap for the company.

    Additional responsibilities for the role include generating intellectual property, publishing academic papers, and presenting at conferences.

    Qualifications

    • Proven ability to initiate and complete scientific studies
    • Expertise in device physics, electrical measurements, and data acquisition
    • Strong programming and scripting experience
    • Expertise in statistical analysis methods and design of experiments
    • History of publications in peered reviewed journals
    • Experience in MRAM, PCM, ReRAM, FeRAM, and/or selectors
