Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Responsible for reader design coverage of volume products in yield improvement, performance and reliability optimization.
• Interface with program team, manufacturing engineering team, and reliability team to improve product read head through design of experiments.
• Communicate with the program team to ensure on-time delivery and volume production ramp.
• Closely collaborate with the process team and reliability test team through volume data analysis for read head improvement in reliability validation.
• Closely interact with FA engineers in reliability test and FA test for design and process feedback.
• Closely collaborate with the process and wafer probe teams to monitor and analyze wafer level test data.

Qualifications

REQUIRED: 

• PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related fields.
• Good communication and technical presentation skills
• Proficient in statistical analysis and volume data analysis; ability to automate analysis through scripts (C/C++, Python, MATLAB).
• Team oriented with ability to interface with technical experts in a matrix environment.
• Goal oriented with strong leadership in project management.
