    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide HR support to assigned client group(s) and support or lead projects across multiple business segments
    • Implements and execute HR programs and services including, but not limited to compensation, talent and performance management, employee engagement, equity/inclusion/diversity, and culture
    • Advise and assist managers on application and execution of HR guidelines, policies, processes, practices and programs
    • Coach managers on employee performance improvement/corrective actions
    • Facilitate team effectiveness activities for clients, such as Table Group, MBTI, TKI, etc.
    • Deliver both live and virtual HR related sessions and trainings
    • Supports development of employees and managers; guides managers on establishing development plans
    • Utilize and summarize talent data from reports and dashboards as needed to support business goals
    • Proactively partner and collaborate across HR COE and HR Operations, share information, and provide a solution-oriented mindset to optimize the business value of the HR function
    • Provide policy interpretation and guidance for complex HR issues
    • Uphold all HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with all state and federal laws at the same time ensuring fair and equitable treatment for WD employees
    • Apply sound decision-making and business acumen to human resources issues
    • Maintain direct client responsibility and bridges the connection between HR work and business objectives
    • Takes a proactive approach with the business/clients on anticipating needs, suggesting improvements and driving the success of the organization
    • Partners with managers on employee engagement; understands and represents the employee viewpoint to strengthen employee engagement

    • Experienced at taking initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation
    • Ability to recognize issues and bring forward solutions to enhance or improve the business and HR functions and processes
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to independently handle multiple priorities, tasks and assignments and work in individual and team environments
    • Ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information and situations
    • Able to facilitate both live and virtual team effectiveness and training sessions
    • Program/Project Management skills or relevant experience
    • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Effective negotiating and influencing skills
    • Excellent customer service
    • Experience working effectively in matrixed, global organization
    • Strong employee relations skills
    • Self-directed and motivated
    • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Box and Workday or other HRIS applications are strongly preferred

    REQUIRED: 

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • 4 to 6 years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • PHR certification preferred
