    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Innovate and develop new technologies to improve next generation hard disk drive's yield, capacity and reliability.
    • Design and develop Recording Subsystems features for the next generation of product.
    • Collaborate with functional teams to evaluate, validate and integrate HDD components and technologies to achieve capacity and reliability target.
    • Evaluate and characterize Head and Media (HM) design, provide ACC and lifetime feedback to improve design
    • Support failure analysis to root cause yield issue. 
    • Setup process test input and parameters to optimize yield and reliability.
    • Deliver a staging product to the development team that meets ACC, Lifetime and yield target.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor degree or higher in electronic, microelectronics, electrical engineering, communication or related discipline.
    • Hard Disk Drive or related experience.
    • Programming experience in one or more languages: Python, R, C, C++.

     

    SKILLS:

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Good written, verbal and presentation skills.
