Wafer Manufacturing Process Logistics Technician
Job Description
The Wafer Line Logistics Specialist role is to serve as a leader within all photo metrology operations within manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Wafer Line Logistics Specialist must ensure the consistent production of high-quality wafers.
The Wafer Line Logistics Specialist is also responsible for the cycletime within their area and must resolve any WIP that is delayed or on hold.
The Wafer Line Logistics Specialist also play a vital role in the training and certification of lower level operators.
With strong performance and delivered results, position is a training ground for future Production Line Manager.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Associates degree in either of the following:
Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Data Analysis or Statistics
Chemistry or Physics
Or 5-10+ years of industry experience
In-depth knowledge of wafer manufacturing processes and logistics
Knowledge of SPC systems, applications, and rules
Knowledge of MESA or similar Shop floor Control Systems
Able to extract, summarize, interpret, and present process data
Able to apply process data to decision making
Provide training and guidance to lower level techs and operators
Familiar with QMF, Jump or similar query management applications
Some familiarity with Project Management applications
History of problem solving; able to drive problems to resolution
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
