    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • As a technical team member within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), you are responsible for developing firmware features that support the RSS goal of increasing device capacity while maintaining or improving the reliability performance and cost.
    • The regular activities include understanding the requirements of the feature designs with cross function discussions, coding, verification and debug, in developing firmware using Agile/Lean mindset.

    REQUIRED:

    • Masters/Bachelors in EC, EE, CS or similar disciplines
    • 8+ years of relevant work experience

    SKILLS:

    • Good communication skills
    • Demonstrated Ability to lead projects, teams
    • Good programming and problem solving skills
    • Skilled in automated test script development in Python, TCL, C/C++ etc.
    • Good debug and Failure analysis skills
    • Experience working with complex systems involving Controllers, SoCs, I/Os, Firmware etc.
    • Advantageous to have working experience with I/O protocols such as PCIe, SATA, SAS, UFS, USB etc.
    • Self-motivated to work both unsupervised and as part of an agile team. Collaborate to develop self and others within group.
    • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies, products and processes
    • Software engineering disciplines in design, development, test, source-code management, and CI/CD practices.
