    Job Description

     Day-to-day responsibilities will include the coordination and administration of immigration and mobility programs at Western Digital. Ongoing responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve as a point of contact for relocation service and/or immigration vendors and employees relocating for business purposes
    • Consult with expatriate employees and coordinate pre-departure, post-arrival, assignment counseling, onboarding and related services.
    • Coordinate with external relocation service providers, where appropriate, to ensure exceptional service and seamless relocation and immigration needs
    • Fully understand the mobility policy framework and policy elements are applied consistently.
    • Assist in supporting the global mobility and immigration team with related project and day-to-day administration on an as-needed basis
    • Assist in the preparation of data, research, analysis, and cost impact as needed.
    • Track and coordinate any relocation-related payment collection from the employee and ensure internal functions/parties are abreast of the status and details.
    • Collectively work with the team to continuously improve and document global mobility processes.
    • Prepare documentation/supporting document for employee and corporate related documentation, as needed
    • Assist Mobility task to perform employee’s (LTA, Local Plus, STA, One-way) initiation process through various systems
    • Assist with any administration support (such as tracking all related documents, but not limited to) related to Mobility Program.
    • Be an active team player and will to assist team with high volume tasks.
    • Perform any other duties as and when assign by superior
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple competing demands and projects, and to prioritize requests effectively.

     

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS), and 1-2 years of directly-related experience (benefits, compensation, global mobility); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Knowledge of Human Resources practices and procedures with specific knowledge of immigration and global mobility
    • Willing to work during peak hiring for extra hours and weekends (if required)

     

    SKILLS:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to identity issues and communicate with others, both inside and outside the Company.
    • Proficiency in a variety of software programs, including: Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint; Adobe Photoshop and Workday
    • Requires accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
    • Must exhibit excellent judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters
