    Job Description

    We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and analytical individual who can work in an extremely dynamic environment. This role will encompass up to three facets of the Business Marketing team within the HDD Business Unit including Planning , Business Management, and Deal Negotiation.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • PLANNING: BUILD THE HDD BUSINESS UNIT (BU) PLAN ACROSS ASSIGNED CUSTOMERS

      • Collaborate with Segment Marketing to align on customer level account plans and objectives including product transitions, TAM, portfolio share, revenue and margin targets
      • Responsible for building and communicating a BU Segment plan underpinned by customer level detail to achieve corporate level objectives (R1Q through R8Q)
      • Work with BU Finance to ensure all inputs are accurate
      • Communicate the business story behind the analytics
      • Support Segment Marketing in preparing customer and internal QBR presentations
    • BUSINESS MANAGEMENT: MANAGE BU PLAN AND MAINTAIN ALIGNMENT THROUGH EXECUTION PROCESS

      • Submit and present monthly forecast
      • Work with Sales to drive quarterly results, including end of quarter deals to close gap to task
      • Monitor In-Quarter customer shipments, linearity, sales forecast, available supply, and logistics
      • Assess Risk & Opportunities, recommend updates, and collaborate with Finance partner to maintain corporate level alignment
      • Work with Business Operation and Supply Chain functions on setting supply priorities
    • COMMERCIAL:  RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERING COMMERCIAL AGREEMENTS FOR ASSIGNED CUSTOMER PORTFOLIO

      • Responsible for designing and negotiating quarterly deal structures to optimize customer portfolio to meet and guide BU Plan including volume, share, mix, and price.
      • Negotiate Long Term Agreements (LTA) for strategic accounts
      • Provide business analytics including RFQ pricing economics, win/loss, competitive landscape, price trends, price volume sensitivity and other pricing intelligence and dashboard reports for business performance metrics.
      • Proper documentation of pricing approval to comply with SOX requirement.
      • Assist rebate reconciliation process
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • 5+ years of experience in Revenue planning, financial planning, Sales finance, business and product planning, or other related business managerial field.

    SKILLS:

    • Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills are required.
    • Comfortable analyzing large datasets and coming up with key conclusions from the data.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills in both verbal and written forms
    • Energetic and proactive, being able to drive multiple projects under time pressure
    • Highly analytical, extremely detail oriented and able to guide team towards data driven decisions.

    PREFERRED:

    • Savvy with predictive modeling and data analytic tools including Hyperion Essbase, SQL, OBIEE, SAAS, Tableau a plus.
    • Undergrad degree in business or finance, preferred.
