We are seeking highly motivated students to be a part of our RAMP (Summer Co-Op) program. These paid summer internship opportunities are designed to jump start your career, offering on-the-job training and a robust summer of events. As a RAMP participant, you'll work alongside technology industry professionals on real-world projects, giving you the tools and experience to get your career off the ground. Additionally, Ramp participants will attend networking events, participate in workshops, and present to the WD leadership team.
As a Firmware Validation intern, you will work with some of the best brains in the storage and drive industries. This strong and capable group enables quality firmware for Western Digital’s competitive and successful enterprise HDD products. This team’s work involves validation of firmware through shift-left testing and the design, development, and review of tools and scripts to measure and improve efficiency. This opportunity will give you exposure to a wide range of topics and is highly cross-functional with the opportunity to learn beyond the team’s main focus. This role is ideal for a motivated independent problem solver, with strong technical knowledge and communication skills.
