    Job Description

    Playing a key role on the Worldwide Marcom team, the Marcom Specialist is the primary interface between brand marketing, creative design, production and regional marketing teams. While supporting brand strategy, the Worldwide Marketing Communications team’s success relies on synthesizing all cross-functional objectives to create and deliver highly effective outbound product and marketing assets aimed at the consumer.

    The marcom team ‘owns’ the development of marketing assets across retail and commercial segments in alignment to the Marketing Communications Plan. The Marcom Specialist drives the asset development from initiation and direction to production hand-off, and maintenance of those marketing assets in the digital library. They are the primary interface proactively communicating team projects and status to/from regional teams, project workflow to all stakeholders, driving asset development schedules, understanding product marketing direction, and driving project reviews. Key to the team’s success is aligning objectives with brand and business requirements to create and delivery highly effective packaging and marketing assets. The ability to understand Product Marketing direction, and coordinate and proactively communicate project workflows and schedules in a very fast-paced environment is essential.

    RESPONSIBILTIES:

    • Own the development of worldwide marketing collateral (including packaging), sales tools, digital and printed assets
    • Proactively communicate schedule risks and project development milestones with the team throughout the production process via our Workfront project management platform.
    • Represent Marcom in assigned cross-functional staff, launch, regional, product marketing, and/or committee meetings
    • Control quality of deliverables, following checks and balances systems to ensure accuracy
    • Support the digital asset management and marketing automation systems, working cross-functionally to optimize workflows, communicate, train and socialize the utilization of these systems as part of the Marcom asset development / consumption lifecycle.
    • Maintain digital asset library with latest creative assets across a variety of product lines
    • Contribute to the marketing strategy for the worldwide Marketing Communication team
    • Consistently research, identify and share current industry design trends in the retail and commercial environment
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA Marketing, Advertising or equivalent
    • Minimum 4-6 years Marketing experience – in any of the areas below (packaging experience a plus)
      • Marcom Manager
      • Campaign Manager
      • Agency experience (Branding, Graphic Design, and Advertising)
      • Account Executive
      •  Traffic Manager
      •  Project Manager
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines simultaneously
    • Good understanding of marketing, value propositions, branding and marketing communications strategies and tactics
    • Working knowledge of how retail packaging, graphic design and campaigns interact and align
    • Expert knowledge of project management practices and techniques
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
    • Good understanding of consumer goods packaging, graphic design, pre-press, and printing
    • Excellent sense of design, composition and aesthetics
    • Self-motivated and very driven, with a keen eye for process improvements and operational excellence
    • Collaborative, team player
    • Microsoft Office proficiency
    • Adobe AEM and Workfront experience a plus
