The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) provides participants with the opportunity to apply finance skills, strengthen business acumen, and accelerate their career. Through three challenging rotational assignments, mentoring from Finance leadership, and fast-paced training and development opportunities, FLDP participants gain the skills required to lead and manage critical business and financial initiatives throughout the company. The first two roles will prepare you for a transition into a Finance Manager role, working with business unit leadership to drive financial results or supporting and influencing our global corporate center finance activities. Role assignments could be in areas such as: - Financial Planning & Analysis - SEC & External Reporting - Treasury - Investment Decision & Analysis - Cost Finance - Commercial (Sales) Reporting & Analysis Minimum Background and Experiences - Progress in MBA curriculum with an emphasis in Finance - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 and an anticipated completion date in 2019 - 3-5 years of practical experience in at least one of the following areas: Finance, Accounting, or transferrable field Preferred Background and Experiences - Knowledge of financial systems, analysis methodologies and technical standards applicable to corporate accounting and finance - Demonstrated ability to drive differentiated results - Global mindset to thrive in a diverse culture and environment - Demonstrated analytical proficiency For this position, Whirlpool Corporation will not sponsor visas for candidates at this time.
